Biennale / KW Berlin (GER)

In this workshop, the participants took another perspective on the Berlin Biennale, by directing the attention towards its hands-on material side. Based on the directory in the catalogue, we set out to ask ourselves: what is this Biennale made of, what resources are used?

Using text techniques such as close reading, collage/montage & transferring, visualizing etc, the group took time to approach the Biennale’s materiality. First it was translated into visual collages, then turned into sound poems and was then performed as a voice duet against the solid walls of the KW Berlin (the sound waves perhaps reaching the art works inside.)
