IKEA I

IKEA I deals with my disciplined body in the cage of instructions, produced by the universal, exploitative and collective choreography of IKEA furniture units. Part of my interest was also to explore a notion of boredom and „un-eventness“ as well as the element of work as „readymaking“, with a side glance to Marcel Duchamp. I performed “IKEA I” for five hours in the frame of KESTO, November 2015, Helsinki.
